implement various maintenance programs, procedures and activities at URENCO USA. Utilizing supervisory and craft knowledge, independently lead and direct maintenance tasks to maintain function and reliability of facilitysystems and associated equipment. Provide leadership to maintenance personnel and manage daily operational and maintenance needs, coordinate activities and communicate updated information to management. Accountable for the supervision and leadership of site maintenance activities in a cost effective manner while ensuring safety standards of self and team with an emphasis on industrial, plant and team safety standards while maintaining compliance with nuclear regulatory standards and applicable Technical Specifications, Quality Assurance Procedures and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) facility licenses. This requires: Oversight of the planning and scheduling process to factor in field knowledge and experience.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or another related science or technical field OR equivalency of experience
- 5 years of related work experience with at least 3 years of supervisory responsibility. Experience should be in mechanical, electrical or instrumentation & controls in an industrial processing/manufacturing environment.
- 8 years of related work experience with at least 5 of those years including demonstrable supervisory and/or leadership experience and skills.
- Related work experience in an industrial or commercial work environment and/or the chemical or nuclear industry is a plus.
- Work Location: Eunice, NM
- Work Schedule: Professional work schedule/ with minimal night/ weekend support. Some nights and weekend work may be required. Employees are also subject to call-outs as needed.
- Travel Required: 10% of the time or less as required
- Security Clearance Requirement: CAA Access and an L or Q level security clearance
- Emergency Response Requirements: Emergency Response Organization (ERO) duty will be required; including being on-call (24/7) during your designated team duty week.
- Work Environment: Radiological exposure expectations of < 100 mrem/yr. General Office, Plant Production Areas. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets etc.

- Overall responsible for technical leadership for developing the processes and procedures for maintenance work planning and scheduling functions within Maintenance.
- Overall responsible for the integration of the maintenance work planning process and the site scheduling process in coordination with Vendor, Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and other UUSA work centers.
- Develop metrics and performance indicators for maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Ensures group safety awareness and performance to include IROFS, radiological safety, and chemical safety, and industrial safety policy, procedure and directive adherence.
- Supervise personnel within the planning and scheduling groups, known as maintenance support by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, field monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
- Establishes goals, trains and develops subordinates, provides technical and managerial expertise, and provides performance review and feedback. Provides subordinates with career guidance to maintain standards, which define the desired level of competency in terms of training and expertise.
- Oversees station scheduling process by integrating requirements for production, project/contract management, plant maintenance, surveillance testing, training, equipment reliability and emergent tasks, including man-hour estimates, material staging, coordination with operations, and facility risk management.
- Meets maintenance operational standards by contributing maintenance information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems.
- Meets maintenance financial standards by developing ten-year business strategy and annual budget plans that meet rigorous cost targets for savings, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Support audits, surveillances, inspections, and assessments by Quality Assurance and external regulating organizations. • Utilize the corrective action process to resolve unsafe acts and deficient conditions and gain problem resolution support.
- Prepare and revise policies, procedures, and guidelines necessary between craft responsibilities and approved maintenance programs in the support of facility activities.
- Ensure all Department functions are completed in accordance with the UUSA Industrial Safety, Radiation Protection and Environmental Compliance Programs.
- Fulfill the duties of the Maintenance Manager as assigned.
