Summary of Responsibilities

To provide risk management support across the Urenco Group Projects portfolio and to the individual business units projects as required. Providing risk management guidance to multiple projects of varying sizes, complexities and types of work.

Education and Experience

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education - Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
-and-
  • 1+ years of experience in a risk management role on a significant project.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 plus years of experience in a risk management role on a significant project preferably nuclear experience.
  • Project risk management qualification such as IRM / PMI RM

Job Details
  • Work Location: Eunice, NM
  • Work Schedule: 9/80 professional work schedule
  • Travel Required: 10% of the time or less as required.
  • Security Clearance Requirement: CAA Access and a L or Q level security clearance.
  • Emergency Response Requirements:  Emergency Response Organization (ERO) duty will be required; including being on-call (24/7) during your designated team duty week.
  • Work Environment: Radiological exposure expectations of < 100 mrem/yr. General Office, Plant Production Areas. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets etc.
Primary Functions
  • Maintain and update the organization’s risk register with accurate, timely information.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to identify new risks and assess existing ones
  • Evaluate risk likelihood, impact, and control effectiveness on portfolio projects.
  • Monitor mitigation plans and follow up with risk owners
  • Prepare risk dashboards, reports, and presentations for leadership.
  • Support internal audits and compliance reviews.
  • Contribute to the development of risk policies, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Build effective relationships within the Group projects organization to aid in developing and driving improvements to enhance control measures, risk awareness, and opportunity management.
  • Support the creation and update of project policies and procedures using lesson learnt and previous good practices

Compensation starting at: $ 121320 - $ 146169 / year and up dependent on candidate.
