Summary of Responsibilities
The Project Cost Controller is responsible for planning, tracking, analyzing, and reporting all financial aspects of a project. This role ensures that project costs remain within budget and provides accurate, timely financial insights to support decision-making. The position works closely with project managers, finance teams, procurement, and external vendors.
Education and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in cost control, project controls, or financial analysis
- Experience in construction, engineering, oil & gas, manufacturing, or large scale projects
- AACE Internation Certification

- Work Location : Eunice, NM
- Work Schedule : 9/80 professional work schedule
- Travel Required : 10% of the time or less as required.
- Security Clearance Requirement : CAA Access and a L or Q level security clearance.
- Emergency Response Requirements: Emergency Response Organization (ERO) duty may be required; including being on-call (24/7) during your designated team duty week.
- Work Environment : Radiological exposure expectations of < 100 mrem/yr. General Office, Plant Production Areas. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets etc.
Primary Functions
- Responsible for controlling and monitoring project total expenditure; verify and check supplier invoices, vendors and subcontractors, and timesheets for labor to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded
- Monitor project activity scheduling and costing to ensure targets are being met
- Ensure proper change management procedures are followed for any cost/scope deviations
- Provide planning and cost controlling support for all projects which include variation reporting and progress monitoring
- Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery and completion of the project work
- Attend project meetings and discussions with the project management team
- Perform project costing-related reporting to the team and management; review on an as needed basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget;
- Weekly, monthly, quarterly progress and financial reporting
- Any additional tasks as requested by supervisor

Compensation starting at: $ 108808 - $ 131094 / year and up dependent on candidate.
