Summary of Responsibilities The Instrumentation and Controls (I&C) Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing the maintenance of plant I&C equipment, distribution system systems and components. Management, implementation and direct oversight of the I&C preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programs in tandem with coordinating efforts of I&C maintenance personnel in the performance of assigned tasks. Involves interdepartmental collaboration, deriving solutions based on test results and troubleshooting results, and maintaining the site’s I&C systems in good working order. Interface with vendors to provide and gather information and equipment to support the maintenance of I&C systems. Coordinate with planning organizations to complete planned maintenance in an orderly and efficient manner. Education and Experience

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of working experience
  • Years of experience:  5+ years in a maintenance or engineering leadership position within an organization 

Preferred

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in a Technical discipline
  • Years of experience:  7+ years in a maintenance or engineering leadership position within an organization
Job Details
  • The work location for this position is Urenco USA, Eunice, NM.
  • Work Schedule : 9/80 work schedule. Some nights and weekend work may be required. Employees are also subject to call-outs as needed.
  • Travel Required : 10% of the time or less as required.
  • Security Clearance Requirement : Controlled Access Area (CAA) Access and an L or Q level security clearance is required.
  • Emergency Response Requirements : Emergency Response Organization (ERO) duty will be required; including being on-call (24/7) during your designated team duty week.

  • Responsible for the protection of confidential and proprietary information received during employment, including keeping information in strict confidence, exercising a reasonable degree of care to prevent disclosure to others, not disclosing or divulging either directly or indirectly information to others, and not using the information commercially or for any other purpose other than the performance of their duties for Urenco.
Primary Functions
  • Oversees the I&C maintenance program in the development, implementation, and execution of the preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Directs the efforts of the I&C maintenance personnel, supporting departments, and Maintenance Support to schedule maintenance and project work.
  • Responsible to support integrated teams in the failure mode analysis of monitored and unmonitored equipment and providing data gathering efforts to support improved machine uptime and performance.
  • Leads planning and organization of the plant I&C equipment maintenance activities.
  • Responsible for processes and procedures for I&C maintenance program execution.
  • Implement changes to preventive maintenance programs based on results of predictive maintenance monitoring results.
  • Trains personnel in the use of equipment and processes necessary to implement the I&C maintenance program.
  • Develops metrics and performance indicators for I&C maintenance.
  • Oversees the review of key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and paths to success.
  • Leads problem identification efforts; directing the development of action plans for resolution of issues and restoration of equipment to service.
  • Meets maintenance operational standards by contributing I&C maintenance information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems.
  • Reports health of equipment as identified in the preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Prepares I&C maintenance CAPEX and OPEX budgets.

Compensation starting at: $130383 - $162979 / year and up dependent on candidate.
