- Management and delivery of Urenco group sales contracts with North American utility customers valued at over $1b annually, as well as other customers as allocated by the Head of Contract Management
- Working with external customers, sales managers and the production and logistics teams to optimize the contracts, minimize risk and maximize value to the company while delivering customer satisfaction.
- Help support and develop long term business relations with existing and future customers (some travel required)
- Maintaining contract data and timely reporting to internal stakeholders to inform demand, revenue and cash planning
- Writing customer communications related to contract management as well as creating contract summaries for internal executive stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years’ experience
- Knowledge of delivery management and logistics (high value goods and regulated supply chains) desirable.
- Experience working with SAP
- Experience writing formal customer communication
- Significant knowledge of commercial and business practices to manage contracts
- Work Location : Arlington, VA
- Work Schedule : Core business hours are from 8am to 5pm with flexibility to work with stakeholders in other time zones
- Travel Required: 10% of the time or less as required
- Security Clearance Requirement: CAA Access and a L level security clearance.
- Work Environment : In-office position operating in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets etc.
Primary Functions
Contracts Management:
- Responsible for managing Urenco’s performance of allocated contracts. Operationalize Urenco’s orderbook by managing the entire “order to cash” process, following contractual notices from your designated utility customers.
- Oversight of client owned uranium assets, responsible for ensuring lead time and holding account limits are adhered to.
- Management of requirements for physical customer deliveries, coordinating production site and central teams along with external counterparties to ensure timelines are met. Includes export controls and other regulatory requirements, as well as management of client owned transport equipment on site for designated customers.
- Development and management of good relationships with designated utility customers in support of the designated sales manager.
- Partnering with the sales managers to identify solutions to commercial challenges, and supporting review of draft contracts. Primary customer contact for operational matters.
- Manage process interfaces and handoffs with the Sales, Uranium Asset Management, Commercial Intelligence, Planning, Transport, Risk, Legal, Treasury, Tax, Accounting, and Site Logistics teams.
- Prepare and maintain contract summaries, revenue reports (as required), SAP data (sales order management, customer master data and contract master data sign off), Power BI interfaces and dashboards.
- Manage customer feedback and customer complaints in Prevent.
- Support other contract management processes as required.
